Western Virginia Arts

Western Virginia Arts began as a workshop I was teaching at Solitude at Virginia Tech. After volunteering at Pilot School & Community Center during that time period I realized there was a great potential for unused community spaces in rural Appalachia to be transformed into literary and art centers which would enhance learning with the help of the local library and community members.
